1.9.2 LIVE TODAY For Mac and Windows, released 9 Oct 2026.
- Runs on your computer: Helix and its local AI work on your own Mac or Windows PC. Only an update check and a licence check go out on their own.
- Reads only what you switch on: folders and files, meeting recordings, and Microsoft 365 mail, OneDrive, calendar and Teams.
- Answers with sources: every answer lists its sources, and a click opens the file it came from.
- Approval and a record: nothing Helix drafts is sent without your approval. Helix logs every AI call and everything that leaves your computer, and you can open the log any time.
NEW THIS WEEK In testing
Two changes are built and in testing. They come in a later update, once they pass.
Clearer answers from email
When an answer comes from your email, Helix will show which message it came from and when it was sent.
Safer workflows
Tighter limits on what a workflow can send.

Free for 30 days, no card, and nothing is charged automatically. You need a Mac or Windows PC with 8 GB of memory and a few GB of free space.
Download Helix →The app isn't signed yet, so your computer shows a warning the first time. On a Mac, right-click Helix and choose Open. On Windows, click More info, then Run anyway. The full steps are on that page.
